Today all heavy off-road-machines control system are standardized on how their CAN system communicate. This means their communication data is universal and can be logged and decoded. So far MadsTech datalogger software only supports SAE J1939.
Vehicle EOM Special CAN decoding is under development!
MT260 is a MadsTech PCB design. A small OLED screen shows status of the tool and CAN communication.
Hardware is decoding CAN frames and streaming to laptop through USB cable. MT260 is mounted with DB25 connector which support all Dimsport Heavy vehicle OBD connectors for vehicles such's as Deutz, Fendt, John Deere, Case, New Holland, JCB and several more.
Both PC software and MT260 Firmware is updatable directly though windows app
The software consists of 3 different parts.
First part of the software controls the communication to the vehicle CAN. Both passive CAN logging, and active can logging will be supported for tool to request defined data from different controllers on vehicle.
Second part of software is data isolation. User can isolate different parts of the CAN log of interest, and sort out irrelevant logging parts. Example is to only show data for 80-90% engine load, and rpm between 1600-1700 rpm. This will make it easier to adjust engine parameters for optimal performance.
Third part of software is Datalog files include Dyno files. Software supports both Yourdyno, Manual dyno-data input, and Eggers dyno results, so far. For CAN logging only MT260 fileformat is supported.
Both single plots of desire can be exporten to .pdf, and also alle plots can be exported as once.
